Equal Idiots - in their own words ‘two idiots from Hoogstraten City’ - have been making uncompromising garage punk since 2012. Thibault Christiaensen goes wild on guitar and microphone, while Pieter Bruurs smashes his drum skins. After winning ‘De Nieuwe Lichting’ in 2016 and reaching the final of Humo's Rock Rally, the two guys were launched on the road to success. Their second single Put My Head In The Ground (2017) stayed for five weeks at the top of Studio Brussel's ‘De Afrekening’ chart. In 2020, they presented their second album Adolescence Blues Community. With a bunch of fanatics like them, high-energy performances are guaranteed to perfection. After four years, Equal Idiots is back with deeper, uplifting music that moves everyone.
