Eosine

Mainstage

Saturday 15:40 - 16:20

Eosine, hailing from Liège and Ghent, are a quartet of young twenty-somethings who, as one of Europe’s most promising indie acts, are knocking on the door of an international breakthrough. They create music at the intersection of post-punk, indie rock, emo and neo-psych, with Elena Lacroix’s intoxicating voice serving as the unifying element. At the end of 2024, the EP Liminal was released, with the closing track and live favourite ‘Digitaline’ serving as the highlight and a perfect synthesis of what the band stands for: abandon, frantic guitars and drums, tempo changes and dreamy vocal lines that beg you to turn up the volume. Over the past year, Eosine has built an impressive, almost sacred live reputation, with top-class shows at festivals including Dour, Lokerse Feesten, Into The Great Wide Open, and an extensive support tour in the Netherlands with the Australian garage rockers Psychedelic Porn Crumpets. In 2026, the band channels that live energy into new music, heralding even more compelling shows and a debut album. First single ‘And Now It Shows’ offers a glimpse of what’s to come: dreamy vocals interspersed with raw emotion, topped with addictive post-punk, emo and a touch of glam drama. Lacroix: “When I wrote it, the song immediately stood out as the lead single. It’s an ode to intensity and a rebellion against the taboo of hypersensitivity. Just under three minutes long and at 210 bpm, that’s all it takes to hit repeat straight away.”
