Stay Idle

Stay Idle is a garage punk rock band hailing from the woods of east-Belgium. Drawing influences from the giants of punk rock bands such as Refused and Turbonegro, they bring an intense combination of lighthearted lyrics and the fiery riffs of garage-influenced bands such as Idles (do you get the reference). Their first demo and debut record (Vulture Culture) sparked a lot of interest in their local scene, delivering shows at Rock Herk, Sjock Festival, and support for bands such as Equal Idiots, Rhea & Ramkot. This motivated the band to shift to an even higher gear, which led to the recording of the eponymous sophomore record The Algorhythm. With local super hero-duo producer and mixing engineer Cedric Maes and Alessio Di Turi, they laid down the tracks that can be described as the return of the punkrockanthem. Stay Idle’s The Algorhythm will see the dawn of light in March of 2024.
