The beautiful town of Herk-de-Stad is situated in the East of Belgium in the province of Limburg, in between the cities Hasselt, Diest and Sint-Truiden. The festival ground is located at sporting fields Harlaz-Olmenhof at Sint-Truidersteenweg, about 800 metres outside the city centre. 
Try to come by bike (check www.fietsnet.be to prepare your itinerary) or public transport to avoid traffic.

how to get there by train

If you come by train to the festival, you have to take a train to Hasselt. From the train station of Hasselt, there are extra busses that drive you to Herk-de-Stad, where Rock Herk takes place.
Direct trains leave for Hasselt every hour, if you come from any stop on the lines Antwerpen, Leuven, Landen and Luik.

how to get there by car

The festival takes place on the sports grounds Harlaz-Olmenhof in Herk-de-Stad, about 800 metres from the city centre. The site of the festival is on the Sint-Truidersteenweg and can’t be reached by car. There’s a parking space in the Ruitstraat. This is about 500 metres from the site of the festival. Follow the signs ‘PARKING’ when you leave the motorway. 

If you're coming from Brussels and Leuven: highway E314, direction Aken

Take exit 25 Halen – Herk-de-Stad – Diest and follow Herk-de-Stad (about 8 kilometres). 

If you're coming from Antwerpen or Tongeren and Luik: highway E313

Take exit 27 and follow Herk-de-Stad (about 8 kilometres)

Where the Oude Tramweg meets Sint-Truidersteenweg, there’s a kiss & ride to drop off and pick up visitors of the festival and the campsite. Parking is only allowed for about five minutes. 

Don’t park in the city centre.
