It's been half a decade since Warhaus, the brainchild of Maarten Devoldere (Balthazar), suddenly conquered our musical hearts with the triumphant double win of 'We Fucked a Flame into Being' (2016) and 'Warhaus' (2017). And no, not because he spent his time incessantly writing and refining new material, on the contrary. The songs from brand-new album 'Ha Ha Heartbreak' came gushing out of him in barely three weeks in sweltering Palermo. It made 'Ha Ha Heartbreak' the most personal and truthful Warhaus album to date, in which he navigates through the various stages of grief and mourning. In the end, the new Warhaus does bring forth a big winner: the listener.
